Help on ammo for my daughters 44???

I have been trying to set up my daughters 44 for deer season and have run into some problems.  My groups aren't nearly as tight as I want/expect them to be so I am thinking that I may have purchased a barrel that is older and has an oversized bore.  Now I have to find some ammo to shoot out of it.  I do not reload so I am asking what types of commercial/purchased ammo will help tighten up the groups. 

Again.....I DO NOT RELOAD. :P

My .445 grew up from a Handi .44.  It is an older overbore, but as a .44 it shot Hornady Leverevolutions well.  I never took a deer with it as a .44, but it's going to this year as a .445.

The Hornady sound like a plan.  I saw that they are a little "larger" than other .44 (.430 vs .429).  So I'll have to buy'em and try'em.

Any other suggestions?

I understand that your not a reloader, but I wanted to offer some advice that I got years ago. I was told about pull and push reloading. You pull a bullet (say 240gr) and push another one back in the same case (again a different 240gr). When doing this all that is required is a kinetic bullet puller, a funnel to run the powder back in and a Lee Classic Hand loading tool. You can order the bullets of the diameter you choose that way. Just use bullets of like weight. I wouldn't try loading a 300gr bullet in a case that a 240gr came out of. The powder amounts vary greatly from one weight to another. This can be done with a very minimal investment. I would say $40 or less.

1+ on the Hornadys, either the XTP or leverevolution.  Also try the 240 gr Winchester JSP (standard white box available at Walmart etc).  They also measure .430" diameter.  My 44 is also slightly large (.431" diameter) and the Hornadys and Winchesters shoot well-enough for deer hunting (3" group at 100 yd).  Hardcast .432" bullets can shoot more accurately, but are not necessary, and if I push them to the same velocity I tend to get leading of the barrel, which I don't care to mess with.  I do use .431" diameter cheap lead bullets for plinking, but load them to much lower velocities than I would use for deer hunting.  Hope this info helps.
