What weight oil do I need?

I just bought a 2000 Ford Explorer XLS with a 4.0 liter engine in it for my wife. There was no owners manual in the glove box so I don't know what weight oil to put in it. Do any of you have an Explorer and if so what does it require? Thanks and take care Dale

At one time it was stamped on the dipstick and oil filler cap.

It is stamped on my Silverado oil cap but not on the Explorer. I will try the 5W 30 then. Thanks Dale
