And with the way he wore on his right eye, it would have been very tough for him to fire his rifle right handed as he did.

I saw this and very much liked it. It's worth seeing, just dont go in thinking it's a remake. 

You can see him shoot his carbine in one scene using the wrong eye. Bet if he had real ammo he wouldn't hit a thing!!! Lol.

I finally saw it yesterday with my wife.  It exceeded expectations, and I'd have to say (gasp) that it was in many ways, superior to the original.  Maddy was better, LeBeof was a huge step up from Mr. Campbell, and Jeff ran a close second to the Duke, though I still think that Wayne was measurably better.

It was a great western in an era where there are far too few to chose among.
