The  scum shot a man to steal his car, ccw holder fires back killing the punk. I love stories with a happy ending. POWDERMAN.

Sounds like the wouldbe carjacker didn't bring enough gun to the gunfight.  Says in the article that the vic' was treated and released from the hospital after being shot in the leg, hip and face by his assailant.  Maybe he tried to carjack a Marine.

Shame man was shot really. Glad no one else in his family was hurt. The rest of the story was as it should be . Best part no court cost and justice was served .

We had an incident here this summer where a punk jumped into a local lady's car an ordered her to drive at knife point.
He severely under estimated how much sand the women had, she took off set the cruise and then bailed out of the car.
She was banged up a bit but the punk wasn't hobbling to good when popo caught up with him.

I thought it was really funny when in Wichita a few years back two guys tried to take a woman's car at a stop light by dragging her out of the car and them jumping in. The problem for the little dummies was that neither of them could drive a stick shift and after killing the engine a few times they left on foot.

Also some years back I remember hearing on Paul Harvey of a couple of guys that tried a carjack, it just happened to be their bad luck that the van behind them was the US Olympic biathlon team returning from practice and they quickly unlimbered their rifles holding the guys until the cops got there.

In all honesty, it's probably a good thing he killed the guy. With all the stupid law suits going on in the last decade, if he'ld a just wounded the perp, he might have gotten sued. gypsyman
