When the leader of Pakistan was killed in '88 (along with the American Ambassador) President Reagan and his team took one floor of the Holiday Inn in Islamabad. When President Bush (43) visited Baghdad after the invasion he stayed in a one-room trailer with guard units around him. When President Bush (41) visited Paris in 91 while on his way to the Gulf to be with our troops for Thanksgiving, he took a total of six rooms in the Intercontinental Hotel in Paris.
