Stevens 22/410 value
« on: September 29, 2010, 05:57:01 PM »
I saw a Stevens model 22/410 at the local pawnshop today and was wondering how much they are worth. It seemed they had this one marked a little too high. It had major finish issues and a loose butt stock. It was priced at $220 if I remember correctly. I really want one but think that was priced about $75 or so high in its present condition. By the way does anyone own one? The muzzle end of the 410 looked to be about .38 caliber. I swear It is quite a bit more constricted than any 410 I have seen. Thanks, Charlie

They've been pretty high of late.  I've seen em going at auction for over 300.  8(  I always wanted one, but seems unlikely now.  8(

FWIW, I recently sold a ca 1939 Stevens Model 22-410 O/U in 98% original condition with Tenite stock(s) by walking it around a funshow with a F/S sign on it (for $400).

Three potential buyers wanted it, the successful buyer ponied up quickly, when he saw there were others interested.
