Is the BC Carbine a SB1 or 2 Receiver?
« on: October 25, 2010, 03:06:30 PM »
Just wondering if the 45 colt BC carbine is made on a SB1 or SB2 frame? I'm thinking about getting some more barrels. I really love mine
especially after picking it up on closeout at a local gun store for 199+ tax. I'll have to try some of those RL7 loads. I currently shoot 250gr XTP and 26grs of H110 and also use it in my Ruger Blackhawk. Definitely makes a 45 Magnum out of it.

Ok, after looking at the FAQ's it appears the BCC frame is a SB2 frame.

Well, that is correct.  It is SB2.  I guess that's my question. We're back to pistol loads in a carbine.  If you look up "rifle", It'll show you rifle.  If you look up handgun, It'll show you that.  There is not one on line source that I know of that can give you rifle and pistol ballistic information for the same load.  Totally stupid on the manufacturers part.  Ya wanna sell bullets and components, do some homework.  Get yer butts in gear and give us some pistol caliber load information.
