.243 ballistic's help
« on: November 08, 2010, 12:06:41 PM »
Ok I'm getting tired of looking. I'm shooting a Remington express core-lokt in 100 gr I'm zeroed at 75 yrds how much drop will I have at 150 and 200 yards. This is my first year hunting with a pistol and I'm uncomfortable shooting anything past 150 yards and would really have to have a perfect situation to take that shot. But I'm thinking that if I change my 75yd to be two inches high will it be right on at 100 or 150?

best way would be to go shoot it at 150 and 200. Use a big target maybe a large box and put a big x to shot at. move it to each yardage you want to know.

I assume that you are shooting some sort of pistol in 243 win. If you are zero at 75 at 200 you should not be over 2" low' Hold center of front shoulder and don't worry about it.

Do you have access to a chronograph?
