What controversy?? I've always said that lady Liberty was being strangled and raped in a dark alley, and nobody was coming to her aid.  I doubt he's the first, perhaps there should have been a few more "familiar" faces pictured.

Yes it's explicit, but what's the controversey. Is it controversial because it's true?

I do belive that Lady Liberty has turned into Larana Bobbitt. Obama was turned into a steer on Tuesday, and I have a feeling, come 2012, he'll be a transexual. gypsyman

It takes "tasteless" to a new level.

It has not yet reached the level of what they did and said to Palin and her family and bunches of other people.

When it does, I'll let you know.

A perspicacious cartoon symbolizing how the people of America became weak and allowed themselves to be taken over by one dangerous man.

Someone else's poor behavior is never a defense to your own poor behavior.

This is a family website, I've left the thread and the link, but removed the cartoon itself.  Please keep it reasonable.

It wasn't hardly pornagraphic. I see worse on TV commercials. So it must be the message.

I've taught my children from a young age that the parasites ( lawyers, liberals and zero liability voters ) are raping America. Plain and simple!

It takes "tasteless" to a new level.

Possibly, but in the end, it's political satire. The country has a long history of political satire.  This is simply an extension of that, and is rightly protected under the first amendment (it's actually the exact type of stuff it's there to protect - after-all no amendment would be needed to let people freely say things that WEREN'T controversial).

Besides - it's about time we as a nation got over our prudishness anyways.  If you think the cartoon is wrong, or unfair, then that's one thing, but crying about it's risqué nature?  Nope, no sympathy there.
