 I suppose the attackers could have been members of a "foreign security force".. after all, Iran wanting to stir things up may well have sent agents in to fire up the conflict. After all, nobody has more to gain in continuing the conflict than I'madingbat of Iran,. It would be obvious that such attackers would not be wearing uniforms which would finger their own outfit..so they would wear some captive or counterfeit ones.
  Only "one of the detained was of an Arab nationality"  ..Well, how did that guy get into the mix ? If it were Iranians who did the murders, the statement becomes clear..since Iranians are actually Persians, rather than Arabs.

   "The (police) forces defused four bombs, two hand grenades and two explosive belts"  Now, I can understand the eight hand grenades and with a stretch..the four bombs; but I doubt the Mossad, CIA or even radical Amish security forces include suicide belts in their stock of weaponry..

AHHHHHHH, silly me, now I understand. The godless ones entered the Christian church sgl file with heads bowed, walked slowly down the aisle as if going to the alter to pray, the Christians said welcome brothers, then the godless ones started the slaughter of innocents.   The Mossad I would suppose, have clandestine operations. Almost every nation has disinformation specialists, counter-insurgency forces and cloak & dagger folks to help direct public sympathies. Such agencies, usually effected by a small number of operatives, are not unlike snipers..they have repercusssions way beyond what their numbers would seem to imply.
    If any nation purposely disarmed themselves by removing this very effective, comparatively economical, operation..the ones responsible would be considered mentally deficient.
  Still as many of us remember, the Clinton administration effectively  emasculated the CIA; surrendering the use of this very valuable weapon to the enemy. In fact, shortly before Clinton left office, Jaime Gorelick a Clinton operative in the "justice" department, pushed for and got enacted a rule preventing the CIA and FBI from sharing intelligence.
       .....then came 9/11...the FBI and CIA each had PART of the whole picture, but were not allowed to put the puzzle together !
