my nephews first buck

My first was much like that, one spike was even 4"s  :D

Those are ALOT better eating then some olde rutty buck  :-\

Congrats to your nephew on a nice buck... should be some good eatin' too. ;D
Hopeully I'll be posting a picture of my nephew with his first deer in a couple weeks. Season don't open 'til the 20th here but he's ready. ;D
I'm not sure if he'll be carrying his 30-30 or 7-08 handi's but either one should do the trick. ;)

Tell us some more about the hunt... what caliber rifle, distance of the shot, etc.
We need details you know!! :o

well it kinda caught him off guard and he had to make a standing unsupported shot at 80 yards but he got it done
