Electromagnetic pulse threat is a 'real & present danger'.. Three missles could cripple the US for months. It would work against Naval fleets alsos..

Already discussed here but........ Should we be concerned? I truly believe so. Silkworm missile launched from a sub? China? N.Korea? Could be alot of guesses to be made. EMP is a threat recognized by alot in gov't. Will anything be done? Probably not, as stated some here do not think we need a missile defense system. Are any large transformers manufactured in America? Don't recall where I read it but the article stated europe as the manufacturer with a 6 month lead time. If that truly is the case can you say 19th century, if an EMP was detonated over conus. I am sure waiting for more to be reported on this.

The other day the Gov. said it was a missile, and looked to be a cruise Missile a that? ?
Now it is a Plane trail shot at the Perfect angle

I doubt the TV station was practicing, with off the wall cam shots

If it is an airplane, where is the airport? I could see it being a skywriting, though the angle seems a bit intense. Real close to shore though. 35 miles seems like a stretch, how about 1 mile? Pretty sure I have fished that jetty before. Also, the "missile" does not appear to be flying straight. Did it tank right after the shot?

I couldn't find a pic to post but if you look at the full video there is another aircraft in the shot flying by the contrail. If it is a funny angle shot, then the other aircraft is either flying straight up or straight down.
Besides, the pic above speaks for it self. Not from a heliocopter.
