I know that you have better things to do and that it is a royal pain. but if you would contact your senators and ask them to support and pass S3454 or NDAA it would be greatly appreciated by all veterans of all services. Your retired military are the only people in the world that pay their own disability, money is deducted from their retired pay, gave to the va, who sends it to them. Their survivors are hit with an offset(reduced pay) in their social security check to compensate the government because they are getting a survivors benefit that the service member payed for with a reduced retirement check every month. this bill corrects some of injustice in the military system.
