My uncle's armadillo recipe.

First, acquire an armadillo.  You can find one on the road dead or track and kill it your own self.  Your choice.  Second, peal off the shell and discard the rest.  Third, nail shell to a board, preferably hickory.  Fourth, place in oven at 200 degrees for about a week to a week and a half, depending on how well done you like it.  Lastly, take out of oven and remove from board and discard shell.  Proceed to eat board.

Think I'll pass. Armadillos carry leprosy, and good hickory lumber is too hard to come by, to waste it in a recipe.
