Using wads in reduced 45-70 and 458 Win loads

Can you guys enlighten me on when and how to use wads or packing with reduced loads, for primarily 458 Win. Mag with 405 and 500 grain bullets? Talking about the reduced loads in 458 that run around 1600 fps or so. Thanks!

Get you some Accurate 5744 powder and for get wads. This stuff will shoot the same no matter where the powder is positioned. It is special made for reduced loads in those big cases. I use 28 grs in a 45-70 with 405 cast bullets for around 1400 fps from a 28" barrel and it is very accurate.
