Synthetic firearm for a USH
« on: November 26, 2010, 02:23:20 AM »
I call upon all of you all knowing gentlemen.
Does H&R make a synthetic forearm for the 20ga. USH?
I prefer synthetic over wood, but have never seen one.
I carry a single shot.
'cause it only takes one shot.

I have not seen one on an USH, but I would think any from the handi line could be made to fit with a little sanding in the channel. ;)

They can be easily fit. I did it with a cinnamon laminate stock set. Wrapped the shaft of a snow shovel with some 80 grit sand paper. I would sand a little and then check the fit, kept doing that until I had the fit I wanted. Then I resealed the fore arm channel with polyurethane. but that wouldn't be and issue with the synthetic forearm.
