What are you shooting them in. Ya kinda threw out a mid thought sentince there. ;)

As far as getting ready. I believe we are. This year my kids are again joining me for opening weekend. Not little ones anymore, but I like when they go. They are 22 20 18. So this year I can hunt and not be overly concerned with them. They have all been hunting for a number of years, always enjoyable..

I'll be ready for this season, I'm using my H&R 500 S&W for some knock down power. I can only Doe hunt, since I already got my buck with my bow. My 2 sons are ready along with my grandson. The one son hunts with a 12 gage marlin bolt action, the other son uses a Handi .44 mag that is a deer getter and my grandson will be using his Handi .357 mag. My granson already took a Doe during the late September youth season and he wants something with antlers real bad. Usually the gun season opening morning, the wife fixes biscuits and gravey, hash borwns, and fried eggs for us all before we head out and we look foreward to the big breakfast.... :)

Ready as of 15 minutes ago. Procrastinate? not me. We now have Mossy 12 20 410, Handi ultra slug 20, 12 smoothy, 20 shorty with scope, .357 Max, .44 mag. T/C contender .357 max 14" hunter barrel, and Knight disc rifle.

I think the first ones out will be the Mossy 12 and 20, and the Handi rifles .357 max and .44

4 of us hunting. So we have a few options ;D

I'm a little behind schedule. One of my troops got arrested for DUI yesterday morning on the way to work. :o ??? ::)  Long day to say the least... >:( I'm leaving IL in about an hour and plan to be out in the woods tomorrow morning.

Good luck everyone!

Thanks, Dinny

theres a guy who works at the same place i do, and he also got a dui on the WAY TO work.  i guess i dont really understand it.  but i guess it happens.  its almost funny, because everyone you tell it to laughs, then gives you a look of confusion.... ha.   sucks anyway tho.  just thought i would share.

When I was a kid the house rules were simple.  You get yourself into jail.  You get yourself out.
