Any drying wet hip boots tips?

The very first set I was making I stepped in a rat run and flooded both hip boots.I don't have a boot dryer.Any tips on getting them dried out fairly fast.The last 2 days I have just waded with no hip boots on.Man is that water cold!Thanks.

I'd like to hear some of those hints myself. Mine didn't get wet from water over the top, just got warmer than I thought and mine are damp with sweat. Today was the Ohio opener and I got a couple dozen coon, mink and muskrat sets out. Sign was everywhere, can hardly wait till tomorrow.

hair dryer or i have stuck some 2" pvc pipe in em and set em over a heat duct

Stuff old newspaper or paper towels into them. Let them sit overnight. That will help a bit.

 First--I learned a long time ago,buy waders for rat trapping--hippers don't cut it.
 I have a peet boot dryer I use every  night.But I also have my wifes hair dryer from the 60s--they come with a ling hose.I used the hair dryer for years on waders,hippers and gauntlets.Picked another hair dryer from the 60s at a yard sale--never been used and still in the box--best 50 cents I ever spent  lol.

I'm with Tom on this one only my old hair dryer burned out several years back. I now have two of the peet dryers and extra tubes to lengthen for waders also got the glove holder attachment. Just get in the habit of putting the boots on them every time I come back in for the day. They work well for some of my dive gear too.
My brother made a pretty nice boot dryer with a squirrel cage fan, built a ply wood box and some 2 inch pvc pipe. His is a bit big hold 3 pairs at once, but he uses it all winter for his and his wifes cross country ski shoes.
I did the news paper stuffing thing when I was a kid and hated it, but it was the best I had. When there wasn't something else drying I used to get away with putting things in front of the old "Superflame" anyone else even know what I'm talking about???

leave em folded down & put em in front of a window fan the air doesnt have to be hot just the more air flow into them the better .

I rolled them down as far as I could,laid them on the side,put a small tall plastic bottle in to keep them propped open,set a box fan in front of them and turned it on.Dry boots every morning.

I use the PEET Boot Dryer for my waders and boots and I find that it works great.
