Tom, yup, the season opened this morning.  Couldn't hardly get a bit of sleep last night, wanted to set steel so bad.  Woke up at 3:00 am for a pee break (you know how it is when you get older) and it was pouring rain.  It's been raining ever since and supposed to rain for the next three days #!*%&@$!.  The creek that runs thru the farm is starting to flood out so I am afraid to set any traps because they will get flooded out and all the hard work ruined.  Went through this crap last year.

May be able to set some traps Saturday or Sunday, hopefully by then the creek will go down to at least halfway normal.  Did set some traps in the barn, 2 cage traps and a box trap and 2 bucket sets at the brush pile. Maybe I'll get lucky and catch something deaf, dumb and blind wandering thru there.

Will keep you updated.
Mike
