Sights on Buffalo Classic
« on: November 20, 2010, 02:20:37 PM »
I bought a new Buffalo Classic and after loading some 400 Speer with 50 grains of H322 it grouped 2 inches at 70 yards but shot 6 inches
to the right. After adjusting rear sight all the way left, it is still 2-3 inches to the right. Can the front sight be moved? Anyone else have this problem? I would hate to scope it.

Is the front site in a dovetail? If it is you could probably use a brass punch to move it accordingly.
Make sure you recenter the rear sight when you start making adjustments to the front.

BC front sights are in a standard 3/8" dovetail, please see BC/Target Front Sight Removal in the FAQs on how to move(remove) them, they're real tight normally.

It does, should I move it to the left to get it to shoot more to the left?

Move the front sight to the right to move POI to the left, the rear sight is moved in the direction you want to move POI.
