Ruger #1 in 308 caliber???

I started looking for a #1 in 308 and Ruger does not make them, any body knows why???????

I would guess that there are enough on distributors shelfs that they just skipped makeing them for a year.Great little gun in the international model

Sure don't know the answer to that question, but I do know if I had the bucks, which I don't, I would have one of every #1-A (light Sporter) that I could get my hands on!!!!!!!!!!  YES.

That rifle with the 22" barrel is about the nicest handling rifle I have ever grabed ahold of.

The only thing I would then need to do is get rid of every last one of the Alexander Henry forend tips and replace then with nice contrasting walnut or ebony.

My current #1-S, 45/70 has the ebony forend tip and looks Waaaaaaaay Cool.

Classy would be a better term to use, real classy!
