Handi Rifle Barks at more than Deer
« on: November 29, 2010, 03:34:48 AM »
Well not the best hunting season here in Hoosier land. Only got one nice doe. Anyway, since yesterday was the last day of gun season it was a bit slow in the stand. About 10 am I was just about ready to quit for a break. Heard something behind and out of the thicket came two coyotes. Didn't figure they would get close but one came within about 40 yards. So the .44 did the job. No chance for the 2nd one.

Well at least you got something, that's better than me. I saw 5 does and one tiny buck in two whole weeks of hunting. :(  Good shooting, those coyotes can be tricky sometimes.

Thanks, Dinny

Great Job!  This year I gave the kids an ok to shoot everyone they seen. As luck would have it we only seen one way off going the wrong direction. :(

I am gearing up for a seek and distroy against those varmin. Way to many down this way.
