Thanksgiving Today
« on: November 25, 2010, 04:29:14 AM »
I smell turkey cooking with all the trimmings and spices. We can count ourselves fortunate to have what many do not.
I am sure many homes will not know the smells and enjoyment of the Holidays for a lot of reasons.
I am also sure our prayers and offered blessings go out to them because you, on this forum are a God fearing, Family and Country loving bunch.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone

And to you sir!  Remember to keep our service members in your prayers as well. Also those who will not be with their families today, LEO, EMS and Fire, hospital staff and many more.  Have a great day ya'll!

There were indeed a lot of folks who could not enjoy a fine meal as we all did. On the news yesterday they showed the homeless and less fortunate being fed a feast at various churches and missions in Lou. One man takes his wife and kids there every year, to help serve the food and help others, those kids will grow up well. If you happened to miss seeing the homeless on tv, NEVER FEAR, they will be shown on tv again at Christmas, and Easter. Problem is homelessness is a year around problem for some folks, even entire families. There are a lot of new faces with families who lost their homes, they still have hope, but hate the change. POWDERMAN.  :( :( :( :( :( :(
Mr. Charles Glenn “Charlie” Nelson, age 73, of Payneville, KY passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at his residence. RIP Charlie, we'll will all miss you. GB
