I Forgot how well these Contenders Shoot!!

Finally had a chance to get out this afternoon with a buddy and shoot the contenders.  I had about 30 rounds that I wanted to fireform for the 309 JDJ and wanted to sight in the 375 JDJ, and the 375/06 JDJ Encore since adding new scopes.  The 309 is a tackdriver as well as the other two.  Amazing how well they shoot!  I remember now why you guys love these things so much :)  I had gotten away from the single shots completely for a while and have recently starting shooting them again.  I was very pleased with them to say the least.  Now I need more barrels!!  :)

Yep,they will shoot. I'm kinda like you in that I've got away from them the last several years.This post may change this , as it makes me want to shoot mine.

I started with the Contender in the mid 70's and have never looked back.  Today I own 13 frames and 57 barrels.  I guess you could say that I kinda  like 'em too!
