Broken barrel latch
« on: November 30, 2010, 12:57:00 PM »
The barrel latch on my 22-250 ultra has broken. I see that Numrich carries parts for H&Rs, but no handi listing.  Does any one know which schematic I should use? Or is there a better place to order from?

Order one for the Pardner, H&R uses the same part number for both it and the Handi, their schematics list it as a lifter in error.

Thanks for the reply. I knew they used the same parts. But wasn't sure if there were an sb1/sb2 difference in this part. I came across that part, but the notches on both sides had me worried. I hate ordering something, to find out it was the wrong piece. THANK YOU, for the help.

I had one break on my 30-06 a year or so ago. The one that was in it had the teeth only on one side, one tooth broke off. I replaced it with one that had the teeth all the way across and it worked great.
I did have to fit my barrel after installing the new one. I had to take some off the shelf of the lug to get a proper lockup.

GOOD SHOOTING!
