Handi redesign?
« on: December 03, 2010, 03:39:34 AM »
I just read this on the Yahoo NEF-Singleshot Newsgroup.

"An NEF service center told me that some H&R actions have stretched under heavy loads that can add to the misfire problem. They said Remington / H&R is redesigning these single shot actions some."

Anybody heard anything about this?

Nope, the misfires are being resolved with a newly designed transfer bar, that's what the service notice is about......and FWIW, there's no such thing as an NEF service center.

Heck, when I found out they'd let me in I almost didn't join. I thought there should be SOME standards.

Has any one seen the new transfer bar, as a side by side photo would be kind of nice. I am curious what the new part looks like.
