I have a fairly early Encore (standard) with the set-screw behind the trigger that I bought new. It's got a great trigger and functions very smoothly. Had a buddy that bought a new Pro-Hunter and neither one of us cared for it. It felt gritty and stiff all the way around, so after checking out a few other Pro-Hunters in some stores to find them all the same, he ended up buying a used, older Encore frame and has not gone back.
I have no experience with the Endeavor, but I can't imagine them being much different than any other Encore platform frame being produced today. Just my $0.02, but with these newer frames out, you can pick up older, standard Encores fairly cheap in comparison and may get a little better trigger and smoother operation...
