Anyone here using the Fiber Tuff Pack Basket?
« on: December 02, 2010, 01:16:34 PM »
I've been using "ALICE" packs for a good number of years for hauling my traps & gear and  I just bought my son one of these Fiber Tuff pack baskets. I do plan on customizing it before I give it to him though. I want to rivet some nylon webbing loops on one side for hand tools and sew up a canvas pouch for cable stakes on the other side. Im just wondering how these fiber tuff baskets hold up after a few years of use.

Best basket there is--have had mine for years.First thing you will want to do--remove the lure pouch. It was always getting hung up in the back of the truck. I sold a lot of these baskets over the years, and have never found anything better.

I'll leave it up to my son if he wants to remove the lure box or not. I'm just glad to hear that these do hold up. Just trying to give him something better than I've had!

Been doing this for over 40 years, this is by far the best basket I have come across. A semi might wreck one,but I doubt your son will.
