I had posted some problems with creep in the trigger pull of my Freedom Arms Model 83 .475 Linebaugh. (

After some discussion with John of the Freedom Arms company I decided to hand carry my revolver to FA for repair and enjoy some "tourist activities" in Jackson, Tetons and YellowStone.
Some unseen family situations delayed my trip to Freedom for several weeks, but the wife and I finally made it to the Freedom Arms establishment. Gunsmith John meet me in the showroom, tried the trigger on my 83 and said..."yep, its got a bur on the sear, Ive seen that happen before. Check out some of our firearms and I'll get this fixed for you".
I asked to see one of the new FA single shots, it was in .260 caliber. What a machine. Felt like a vault door. Wish I could have tried it out on the range, no doubt it is a shooter.
Less than 10 minutes later John was back with my pistol. He reconfirmed that there had been a bur on the sear, and that he was able to clean it up. John then asked me to try the trigger again. Wow...what a difference. No doubt a trigger equal to the quality of the firearm and I am extremely pleased.
John and I swapped a few hunting / shooting stories, I thanked him and the wife and I were on our way. Oh, and there was no charge.
Folks, I can't remember ever getting better customer service than I experienced with Freedom Arms. Can't say enough good about their personal touch. The quality of the trigger touch up was all I had hoped for. FA has definitely earned my respect.
