Anybody know if Rossi or anybody else makes or made in the past a .44 levergun with a 16" octagon barrel in stainless. I have a notion in my head that the octagon barrel would be great for reducing recoil along with a 1x or 2x scope mounted on the barrel scout stlye. Would be a great brush gun. I just bought a sweet early model .357 Rossi M92 in stainless with 20" barrel for a mere $200 off of Gunbroker. Its the Interarms one with nice looking wood (not black) and no safety with no more than 50 rounds through it. It was apparently a gunsafe queen. Now I know why people say leverguns are addictive!
