I AM SO BORED!!!!!

I am stuck in the house with 3 kids and a sick wife. I can't go anywhere or sneak out to the mancave without some crumb eater fighting & acting out or a bellow from SWMBO needing me to
wait on them hand and foot. I love them to death, but I am going outta my skull >:(!

Can't even hold a gun without the youngest trying to "HELP" me. It took me 30 minutes to change out a buttstock on the SuperLite 223 as I was constantly moving and grabbing tools from the
boy child. He is not gonna make to 3 if he doesn't straighten up!

I will trade anyone their choice of 2 girls and a boy for one Handi Barrel, you can pick the condition and caliber! Any takers? PLEASE?!?

Teach the boy about your rifles. Never to young to start. I know your pain but he is doing it becuase he wants your attention.

I speak from having my daughter at that age helping me fix the car, she stuck a screwdriver into the radiator. Now she can at least keep hers running, and do all it's maintenance.

I endured all that crap and lived through it.  Kids, grandkids, neices, nephews and grand of those too.  Now I sit back, relax, chuckle, and let the youger generation handle it.

I can't believe you wrote this!!  I sure hope you were just joking.

I'll tell you what: if something happened to your kids and your wife, you'd be the first one crying and weeping for the rest of your life.  No gun or "mancave" would ever help you get over it, nor could they replace them.  Guns and stuff can be bought and/or replaced, kids and family can't.
Sorry to say but "suck it up" and be a dad!

When my son is home from college, he is off doing his own thing and I have not seen my grown daughter in over a year.
I would love to have to referee who gets to sit in daddy's lap, just one more time.

I raised 2 girls and a boy. They all turned out good. If I could take my experience with me and exchange my age in the trade, I would do it in a minute.

You can't be anywhere else right now.  Look for the fun and make it fun. It's "your life" and "thiers" that you will be missing.

son moved out to school this fall, no hunting or bball with him. daughter is graduating this yr , God willing, and i KNOW i would never trade these past 18+ yrs away.

SNORK, SNUFFLE!!!!
We finally had the last of TEN kids leave the nest about three years ago. 
At first I thought, Oh Boy, FREEDOM.  Then I retired.  Now I eat cheetos and watch porn.
Well, not so much, really, but you ain't seen boredom yet!
High light of the week is when the kids show up with their 'significant others' and the Grandkids.  Tomorrow, one is being delivered, Jacob, he'll be number 26, and number 27 (as yet unnamed) within the next few days, number 28 is due in June, but it's gonna be a long, cold winter, too.
NOTHING comes close to the joy of seeing a son or daughter teaching a grandchild the same lessons I taught them, and doing it the same way.  I've got a six year old that's been shooting for three years, knows how to put his cleaning rod together and swab and clean the bore of my/his (ownership has yet to be finally determined) Chipmunk .22 and the H&R .410 that he absolutely had to have to shoot slugs through.  He comes down to the Man Cave and goes into hover mode when he looks at the guns, asks to see something, and immediately checks the chamber and leaves the gun safe while he handles it.  He ain't the only one, either.  13 year old will have his first resident hunt in Alaska next season, with a .300 Winchester Mag Model 70 that he picked out and paid for himself, and had me modify the stock so it'd fit him.  Nothing within 300 yards is safe if he aims at it.  He's been shooting my 03 Springfields, M1 Garands and Carbines for several years, and has yet to suffer from "Garand Hand" or "M1 Thumb".  My daughter have on occasion run 23 birds on the skeet range, with a 20 gauge.
They also paid attention to Mrs. Walton, every one of 'em can cook, have homes that anyone is welcome in.  At the moment, they're all employed, most of 'em go to a church, and even the ones that don't exhibit spirituality.
Do NOT wait till they're on their own and regret not having done something with them.  If they're hangin' around, it's because you are Number One in their eyes, and absolutely nothing stings as much as having one of them pick someone else to be that person in their life.

My grandson helps me change stocks by taking the ratchet and socket and putts it back in the toolbox with all the other sockets. pretty smart little fart for 14 months. And he has his boxes of lense caps to dump out and throw at the cats. I just got a new safe and he sits in it on the nice carpet, its his fort. I hope i get some more grandkids.

Pops wants some gun time.

Teach the boy about guns is a win win. Bolw up some milk jugs for him to see. Thats whay I did with my kids. They learned a gun can be fun.
