Gamo Hunter 440
« on: April 25, 2010, 07:35:10 PM »
I had a gamo 440 given to me yesterday. It seems to shoot pretty decent with good power. The only problem I am having is the trigger is throwing off my shots. I swear its got 3/4 creep before it goes off. There is no wall to pull against so at best shots are unpredictable. I looked it over and no adjustment can be done. I did spot a aftermarket replacment trigger called the GRT -3. Any of you guys have any input about it or other options. I plan on using this gun for small game and I dont think its gonna happen with the stock trigger.

Is this the only option for triggers for the gamo? I will more the likely give it a shot, just exploring some options

The Gamo 220 s and 440 s are good guns.
I had a 220 that my son wanted. I gave it to him two years ago and it is still shooting good.
Before I gave it to him, I reworked the trigger. It was a pain in the ass to put back together.
I also recommend a Charlie D Tuna drop in trigger.
