You wouldn't need a gun.
Just throw the bullet at him, the speed it would pickup on its way down would kill anything it hit.

No thanks. Highest I ever climbed was about 200 ft, that was enough. I'd imagine that the swaying in the wind at that height would be quite a lot. POWDERMAN.  :o :o

When I was in my early 20's I worked on the Dames point bridge in Jacksonville FL. I worked 400 and some odd feet in the air on that project. That was plenty high for me and don't want to ever work that high again much less 1768 feet. That guy is plain crazy!!!!!! :o I bet he makes good money though. Here is a link to the bridge I worked on. I only work there a few weeks though. Working at that kind of height just was not for me. Take care Dale

That guy don't need a safety line he needs a parachute. If he falls he's gonna splatter like a bug.
I wouldn't do it.

I painted a church steeple once on a church with a slate roof.  That had enough of a pucker factor for me.

When I was in my 20s (Young and Stupid) I worked on the Airfield Lighting Crew.  One of the lights we had to maintain was the big revolving Strobe light in the highest point on base.  That turned out to be on the Water Tower.  The Water Tower was maybe 200 to 250 ft tall.  But it was also on the highest hill on base.  We had to climb it once a week and check the lights.  We usually had to replace one or two bulbs, which required we have tools to open the locking devices that kept the unit closed.  Also once we climbed the ladder to the top we had to walk to the center of the top of the tank, on a sheet metal roof.  Now they had put those sandpaqper type strips down for us to walk on and give us some traction.  There was no rail or anything to hang on to till we reached the light fixture.  I had been doing this for about a year when a big wind suddenly came up as I was walking to the fixture.  I go blown off my feet and slid about ten feet out on the slick metal roof.  I froze and just laid there spread out till a member of the crew could climb back down and bring up a rope.  They threw me the rope and I tied it to my belt.  They then drug me over to the light fixture.  Once there I was so scared, it took a long time for the Boss to talk me into crossing back over to the ladder.  From that point I refused to go back up on the tower, period.  Today I don't climb up on anything higher than a six foot ladder.  The balcony in our house overlooking the living room and kitchen makes me dizzy.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Standing on a kitchen chair to change a light bulb is enough "altitude" for me. Going up on a treestand is done with closed eyes 'til I get to the top.

I have seen this several times and it still makes my knees knock everytime I see it.

I think the fact that the camera is mounted to the guys helmet and is always moving around makes it worse.
Hi NSA! Can you see how many fingers I am holding up?

That they do , but think about it he crawled vertical 3/4 of a mile  ;D I've been up high before but I don't know if that high would bother me or not it might . I do think the climb would wear me out if not kill me .
