I owned one for about a year, it was a neat revolver. Very accurate, front sight was dovetailed, big plus, very cool. My big complaint was when I tried to order a replacement cylinder hand assembly for a backup, could not get the proper part. Everyone kept trying to sell me the remmy 1858 cap and ball one, which was just a tad shorter.
VTI...did this, I kept sending it back, finally got hold of Cimmaron arms and talked to a guy there who said...yup, that part is a wee bit longer, he dug around and found ONE, said he'd send it to me after he took pics to get more from Uberti. Anyways, I liked this revolver so much shot the heck out of it for about year, finally, the spring broke on the hand assembly, took the one replacement part I had and fitted it, sold this to a guy that shoots cowboy shoots after that. Also, I think the bolt/trigger flat spring is longer as well! So I liked it, it shot nice, but replacement parts are a big thing for me, I waited almost a year to get a proper hand assembly, this was the only negative point I had.
Cylinder is large enough to be six shots in 45 colt (you can only load five anyways for safe carry), the back plate had a loading gate, revolver was easily taken all a part, I liked all that. Just don't know if some spare parts are easy to get, maybe they are now that it's been out for awhile.
