Rear Sight Removal Help ---I got it done!
«

Hi all
I am trying to remove the Rear Sight Base from a Model 252 Rimfire. I have taken the three screws out but still can not remove the base. Does the base have to be pried out?
Thanks...
Mike

Man...
Glad to hear you got the sight removed. How about a little info on how the extraction went and any recommendations based on your hind-sight.
Info appreciated.

I put a wooden dowl against the back of the sight, and tapped it once lightly with a small hammer and it popped right out.
Sorry I did not think of putting this out for those who could use it.
