Does anyone have the Tikka Big Boar in 308? I have a question.

I have a tikka big boar in 308.  It seems like the barrel is up and Free floated  way too much (too much space between the stock and barrel).  I wonder if there is a problem with the stock.  I do know it has a bull barrel on them so I don't know if that's just the way it is.  It just keeps creeping into the back of my mind so I need to figure it out or it will nit pick me to  death.  If it's normal I'm fine, if I need to fix it I will.  They do not import these anymore so I'm glad I have one as I really like it.  I will try to post pictures later if I can capture it where you can see it well.

I have a .308 stainless t3 that i chopped down to 19in. cause I could not find a big boar. Love that gun.
Not sure on the heavier barrel but you might want to check the recoil lug in the stock.
The action has a keyway / slot that the lug fits into. It is possible that things are not lined up (action screws would still tighten) and this would cause the barrel to ride higher in the stock.
This would be easy to check.

It shoots about 1 1/2" groups.  Not like my other tikkas which are usually 1/2"-3/4" guns.

How many rounds throught the barrel ? My odd six grouped about an inch and a half at it's best , until after about a hundred rounds , then it started to settle in and group . It was not the reloads as I tried factory ammo before and after  to prove the barrel .
