Does anyone know where I can find a Loading Stand for an T/C Patriot Pistol?  Or the plans that I can make one.  Thanks. Mike.

Is this what you're looking for ?

http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/vertical-item.jhtml?id=0018706213315a&navCount=0&cmCat=srchdx&cm_ven=srchdx&cm_ite=srchdx

Otherwise here is a site that has a plan

http://membres.lycos.fr/poudre_noire/PNsup.htm

The blueprints can be clicked on to have a larger picture. The dimensions are metric, in millimetres. 1 inch equals 25.4 mm

Hope this helps. If you need translation help let me know.

Thank You Verbero,
Sorry that it has taken me so long to notice a reply to this post.

This will not work on the muzzle loader pistol, there is no hammer to hold on to the wood, but I should be able to come up with some modification to hold pistol solid.

145 people have read this post but I guess no one has seen a muzzleloader pistol stand lately.  I know I have not since I got this pistol.  Next time I do I will sure and take some photos of it.

Thanks for trying Verbero.

GrampaMike:

I've got what you are looking for...the stand I built is approx 12" tall, cradles the butt of the stock and is notched at the top to hold the pistol in a solid/vertical position for loading.  I built it from a photo years ago out of oak.  Built two in fact...for another Patriot shooter.

I'll get my hands on a digital camera, snap a couple of photos then e-mail them to you to confirm if that is what you are looking for...OK?  If I knew how to copy/paste the .jpg files here I would do it...but I'm not that PC literate.  Give me your e-mail address and I'll send them on.

...Chris     :D

Chris, I wouldn't mind seeing pictures of your stand also...I also recall some good times in Springfield Va around that time - I hope I don't owe you any money!!!

Chris I sent you a PM with my email address, thank you very much for your offer.

You guys would not like Springfield, Virginia very much right now.  The construction in the mixing bowl area has been going on for years with a couple of years left to do.  I work at Ft Belvoir and the Pentagon, and the fastest way between them used to require going thru Springfield, but we all avoid the area now.
