Senate Rejects DREAM Act!

In a 55-41 vote, the Senate voted down the House version of the DREAM Act (H.R.5281). Sixty Senators were required to end debate on this bill, and in the end, amnesty supporters came up five short. Thanks to all of FAIR’s members, activists and supporters who over the past days and weeks contacted their Senators and urged them to oppose this bad legislation and bad public policy. There is no doubt that grassroots activism was the key to this win!
Notably, several Senators switched their votes since the last time the Senate voted on the DREAM Act in 2007 (S.2205). Senators Murkowski, Landrieu, Conrad, Dorgan, and McCaskill all voted no in 2007, but voted yes today. Others, such as Senators Brownback, Nelson (NE), Collins, and Snowe voted yes in 2007, but voted no today. Four Senators did not vote.

The Republican party could care less what the people want! I thought  the Tea Party had brought them to their senses, but it did not. All they care about is power just like the democrats! They want enough people with an R in front of their name to put them in power and control. They don't care about DADT or the dream act or any thing else except being in power!
    Those RINO's are reelected every election with republican backing and money! They are just scamming us! From now on if I can not find a third party to vote for I will not vote. If that puts the Democrats back in charge so be it! If Obama gets a second term ,so be it. I am so disgusted I don't care if not one Republican wins reelection in 2012!

In the paper today it told about an American soldier who  came home on leave and found that his dad was in jail facing deportation. He'd been laughing at America and ignoring the law for 25 years and in the meantime making new citizens with his also illegal wife. They made 5 new Americans in 25 years.  POWDERMAN.
