A voice of warning...and experience..
« on: December 23, 2010, 04:33:25 AM »
  From a German doctor:

German View of Islam
This is by far the best explanation of the Muslim terrorist situation I have ever read. His references to past history are accurate and clear. Not long, easy to understand, and well worth the read. The author of this email is said to be Dr. Emanuel Tanay, a well-known and well-respected psychiatrist.

A German's View on Islam

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism. 'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools.  So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come.  My family lost everything.  I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'
We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant.  It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the specter of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.
The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history; it is the fanatics who march...it is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide.  It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout  Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honour-kill.  It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque.  It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals.  It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers..
The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous.
Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people.  The peaceful majority were irrelevant.    China 's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist.  Yet,  Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across  Southeast Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And who can forget  Rwanda , which collapsed into butchery.  Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points:

Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from  Germany , they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late. As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts--the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

How do you guys not figure out the sniff test on these things?  If you receive it as an email forward assume it is false, misleading, or incorrectly attributed until proven otherwise.  That's simply the way the internet works.

I had an idea it may be put down by Snopes or similar, but it is all true and most of us with any seasoning behind us have seen just such a progression many times. It is called "bait & switch".  A charismatic leader comes along and people are clamoring to give up whatever freedom they have for a flim-flam man's promise. It starts with a small, dedicated cadre and takes over a whole nation.  Wm Ayers, Saul Alinsky and others in the 60s tried this very thing...and they are still trying, with with billionaires and presidents to help them.
It was true with the end of the Roman republic, the Bolsheviks in Russia, the Nazis in Germany and the Fascists in Italy and the communists in China, Korea and elswhere. Whether one agrees with the attribution, the instances of a subtle surrender of their freedoms by a politically comatose public, is a historical fact. An equally insensate majority tried to surrender all our constitutional guarantees here in the US.. in 2008 !
I find it interesting that each link you posted in an evident attempt to discredit the value of the piece..nobody dismissed the truth of the statements even though in some cases they may have questioned the authorship. Most in fact, agreed strongly with the sentiments !

If I am driving down a mountain road and someone warns me of a washout ahead where I could crash and be killed ....I really don't care if it were Tom Smith or Mary Jones who forewarned me, I'm just grateful that they saved my life !

In case you didn't notice, the post included many peoples and nations..it was simply a warning to stay alert and observant...because history often repeats itself.  Many of today's self indulgent people have forgotten the old adage..."stay alert, stay alive".

Sniff Test?
It's warning rapped in a history lesson.
It may well be that the personal account of the German man was fictional but the rest is historical fact.
The question is are we going to learn something from the lesson or just get hung up on the presentation?

I've always been of the opinion that one should make an effort to present information in the most accurate means possible.  If I was going to post this email forward here I would take a second to see if it was correctly attributed (it wasn't) and then post a disclaimer such as, "I realize this isn't written by the person it says it is but..."

Some will not care for such accuracy, as is (or perhaps because of) their agenda.  I've not expressed any opinion regarding the content, I'll let the usual factions thrash about on that.

Right, and as I said: Post #1 is just more sheit stirring up animosity for moslems from you know who; attempting to make a lame connection wiht nazies, fascist, other crazies or whatever..which certainly appeals to christian right extremist.. Fact is moslem nations have generally not attacked other nations of lately, do not occupy hundreds of bases around the world or possess all the high tech uber weaponry or vast air forces and navies; have war budgets over half their GDP or put their people in to massive generational debt to do the aforementioned.

.Extremist, cosmologists and hawks on all sides thrive on this kind of BS.

     TM;
Surely you would not want to live in such an evil country as you described...One that attacks other people, unlike the peaceful coexistence Saddam Hussein showed Kuwait...and the brotherly love Lebanon, Palestine and the Gaza strip show Israel continually.. ;) :D
A nation which occupies bases all over the world...for which they pay humongus rent and pump many millions into the local economy. :D
...Imagine such a nation that goes around curing plagues, helping flood, earthquake, Tsunami and volcanic eruption victims to survive..ugly nation that !
If perchance you are referring to the USA...perhaps you should renounce this ugly war-mongering nation.  That would free you up to make a new home in the Gaza Strip or Iran...there I would assume by your own words, you would find a much happier home with much more tolerant neighbors.  There you could begin to teach your female next of kin about the joys of the birka and second class citizenship. ;)
Any male next of kin may not be allowed to play some sports...but hey, they may now and then get free passes to the local soccer field or stadium to enjoy a beheading or stoning . ;)
So, naturally, if by some remote chance the ugly nation you described is the US...there is transportation headed to the middle east every day...
that way those mad bomber, 'Christian extremeists' you spoke about.. can't get to you. :D

BTW: If the middle east doesn't appeal to you , there is always Somalia or the Sudan..where you can gather delightful neighbors and not be bothered by Christian extremeists..

    TM replies;
I think there is a lot of places I can select that are far more congenial than these zio-western sheit stirred up provinces...thanx for the suggestion, but I think southern France, parts of Italy, NZ, Australia, Uraquay, or Argentina appeal to me more....but first on the table is working right here to bring this country back from the insane psychopaths and the abyss as proffered by you and other extremist.
