       The politicians are blaming these problems on everything from.. human rights, to greed and the mythical 'global warming'.    ....But tragically, they have overlooked the most likely source of these problems...The removal of the protective hand of an Almighty God ! ...And those same politicians may well be contributing greatly to the situation !
      We Americans have been mightily blessed, right from the foundation of our nation, while other nations have been given the same opportunity. Europe, the British Isles and the nations founded with stock from them, were given the same opportunity to continue honoring the REAL God; paying heed to His book, worshipping the Son and acquiescing to the urging of the Holy Spirit.
   I have so often said,... "one thing we learn from history..is that we don't learn from history" !
        God blessed us (the US) greatly. and we thrived very well for about 200 years, rising to become the most powerful nation ever.  But then came a generation which has chosen to ignore and insult Him.
     Throughout history God has favored certain nations and has blessed them greatly.  I give the example of ancient Israel, blessed mightily..but then in the midst their riches and glory, they began to go "whoring after other gods"..gods of stone, wood, and metal..plus gods of greed, promiscuity, leisure, drunkeness and drugs (sorcery).
About the time, some started sacrificing their infants to be killed (any parallel today?)..God..the Real God, decided to remove his protective hand. God does not need to punish, he only has to remove his protection and let the devil have his way (ask Job).
   Yes, old smuttyface can cause weather pheonomenon, since he is "the prince of the power of the air".  Probably the only thing which can save us and our nation is serious  repentance and prayer. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

There is absolutely no doubt in my military mind that we are about to see the prophecies of Daniel, John in Revelation and even the words of our Lord Jesus unfold before our eyes.  The Church of our Lord is about to under go persecution not seen since Roman times.  The new world order is pushing it's agenda to achieve a one world government at such a fast pace that it's sometimes hard to follow all that is going on.  Keep faith for it is by faith that we shall see our salvation.  "Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus."

You are exactly right Bravo.
The fact is that the only Bible prophecies that have not already come true, are playing out right before our very eyes. In a big way, and very fast, as you mentioned. Most everyone knows it too. The Christians know that the Bible is true. Muslims believe they are the ones to really kick off the "time of the end" and bring back their mahdi. Others listen to Nostradamus or the Aztecs or L. Ron Hubbard or Incas or Buddah. Still others just think we will blow ourselves up with nukes. The 2012ers. Aliens. Everybody knows it's coming except maybe some creation worshipers who think they can save the world buy making everyone drive an electric car or through communism. But how many know the truth of what is coming? So many have been decieved. It is both heartbreaking and peaceful relief at the same time to know the truth. And very frustrating that people just won't listen to you when you only have the best of intentions and they want to kill you for it.

I echo your plea. Maranatha, Lord Jesus come quickly!

  Obviously, most of you guys know just where I am at !
   Frankly, when I typed that post, I was just rambling on ..posting directly from the heart, calling it as I see it.  Where I live, we have those "lake effect" snow storms and in my local church we have a recently semi-disabled pastor who lives about 35 miles from the church building, so his abscences are rather frequent as of late.
    Even though I have often filled in for him in his absence, with his recent leg amputation and the lake effects we have already had, I have been a regular at the task.  I had not dwelt much on the thoughts I just posted above as far as a message, when Brett said "preach it brother", it occurred to me he's correct.
   I am taking those thoughts and incorporating them with the usual "New Years resolutions" factor and composing a message, urging all to repent and pray for our country as directed in ..  (2 Chron 7:14)...investing any 'resolutions' right there..    Thanks Brett !

I prefer to think that the trials and tribulations the Earth is going through is and has been ongoing since time began.  To expect things to always be rosey and wonderful, just isn't realistic.  A good dose of faith and common sense religious charity doesn't hurt, but it all has to be tempered with hard work, good judgement and sober thinking.  And even with all of that, there are going to be times when it all goes in the ditch.  As a friend of mine once said, "You win some; you lose some and you don't come out so good on the others." 

We should be thankful that most of the problems we are pondering these days are man-caused and really are not cataclysmic.  Be thankful that even though the climate does have its ups and downs, at least it is relatively stable--hopefully.  Be thankful that we aren't being bombarded by oversized space debris.  We still live in the Garden of Eden when compared to the rest of our solar system.

There isn't much wrong with this old world that isn't fixable by a bright shiney warm day in the spring, or summer, a nice stretch of blue water and a great kayak to ply those waters.  That's what works for me.

   Could it be that the Master of Truth...is crushing out the Algore lies ?  Might be a double whammy..just for fun, slowing down the drug weed mules from south of the border, giving potheads the heebie-jeebies..suggesting they take a clue..
