Hey guys I'm looking at a H&R Shikari 44Mag for $245.00. Desent shape.
1974-75 vintage. Nice wood. Tight fitting reciever. Couldn't find much
in the FAQs. Would this be a good, bad or ugly deal
Any help
would be welcome. Thanks much! reclusej

Good ones are getting hard to find so if it's nice go for it. They're good looking rifles and are said to shoot well too.

IIRC, the 45-70 was the longer, the .44Mag about 24".
