Was out earlier this week ,heard nary a thing.Still a little early for them  though.

Yesterday mornin i heard a a really young jake that was with a group of hens make some noise. It was a real poor excuse for a gobble.

yeah i'm in north alabama and i haven't heard anything yet either. if these temps stay up though they should start soon. what worries me is that we still have some cold weather coming and it's gonna screw things up. it's not even march yet, so i know it's gonna get cold again and kill the buds on the fruit trees.
