Need names of leading experts

I found a gun in a yard sell today that the lady said was her grandfathers.  It is a flint lock pistol that clearly has Ivory inlay thru out the stock.  Someone at one time or another blew up the breech.  I just need to know who I can send question and pics to get it Identifited.

There is a sub-forum which deals exclusively with firearms identification.
You might have to sign up up and become a member to use that forum.  However, post your pictures there and if the folks there are unable to I.D. your handgun I'm sure they can point you in the right direction for more assistance.
You might also post pictures here, just never know who might have info you need.  Good Luck.

Contact Dixie gun works, in TN. dixiegunworks.com, and Taylors & company, both are re-sellers of collectable guns along with selling more modern reproductions.

Or send it to me for disposal ;)
