Why Not?

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Go for it, I would say that some 250 gr loads moving along at better than 2500fps from its long barrel will wake you right up with that steel butt thou...  ::)

+1 for what CW said. To add to it, I would suggest the new Hornady Superformance 200gr load at 2910fps. ;) ;D
