Well now I've done it. I posted recently that I got my Grandpa's old High Standard running again by straightening the recoil spring. Well before doing that I ordered a spring kit for it. And even though it was working pretty well, I decided to use the kit, I should have shot it after replacing the easy springs, but went for it all by removing the hammer and sear. I can't seem to get the sear and sear spring in. Also the main spring seems to be riding a little high also, and gets in the way when trying to install the sear. I had to trim the main spring a little and it's possibly a little long yet. And help would be great!
