I prefer to use Plano Stackable plastic boxes for my lures and such.  What is the preference of everyone here and why?  Lawdog

The soft-side is a smarty move.  I have been using them for about ten years.  Mine holds six of the large plastice stackable boxes.  I bought several extra plastic boxes.  I load one with soft baits and use it year round, I have one for jigs/spoons/spinner baits that goes every trip. (I also keep lots of worms stowed in the boat, can't ever have too many.) The others I rotate according to the time of year and the type of fishing I plan to do...........................but.

Most of my fishing is either throwing a worm or jig or flipping a soft plastic into brush piles.  I never leave home without at least two flipping rods.  Some of the guys I fish with laugh at my rods, all I need to do is knock the guides off, put a tip on, and I'd be ready for a game of pool.  You gotta have the right "stuff" to get a big ole bass out of a brush pile.  Heck, sometimes, ya even have to lift the brush pile out with the fish.

I use the Plano boxes myself.  They are handy as a shirt pocket.  I keep my tackle in a rolling shelf and when I get ready to go, I roll the shelf to the boat and set in the boxes with what I think I'll need.  I also have a bag to load them in when I'm going non-boater which is rare, but still happens a few times a year.
