I sure this is an old Question, but at what distance do most sight in their slug gun. PBR, going to use sabot slug, single duplex scope. I thinking to start 2" at 50 yds and work back until I'm 3" low.
Anybody don't anything similiar, doesn't have to be 2" high at 50 yds, I just don't want to be over 3" high anywhere and after I get to 3" low I'm done. At 4-5 dollar a bang any opinion will help.

Another option is to sight it in for the distance you most often shoot at game at where you hunt and go from there. Some of us who hunt the thick greengrowth conifers forests of the northeast very rarely, if ever, can see more than 40-50 yards where they hunt. Others in Iwoa or where ever there are open cornfields may regularly see and shoot at deer at 100-150 yards. Sight in for what suits your hunting style....<><....:)

Find out what the weight and velocity is of your round.  Go to handlader.com and they have a trajectory program.  Play with the sight in distance till you find the trajectory you want.  Go to the range and dial it in at 25 and verify at your suspected shooting range.  Has worked for me in the past.

I sight in for about an 1" to 1 1/2" high at 75 yards that should make it good out to about 125 yards which is a long shot for my neck of the woods anything past that use Kentucky elevation
