Ride the Harley when its not raining

and a kimchee burner when the ground isn't dry.

All that chrome is hell to keep clean from Oct-April

  Weather here still aint good enough to take the bikes out.  Rains are cleaning up the roads finally. Put the Chipmunk back together today for the last time. It's finished. Seems like about a year in the works. Here's a few pics of it with a Mod 29 to show scale. Have spent more time on it than on some of the full sized rifles we have built.

  Trigger is aluminum and should be blackened. All in all, came out nice, and will make for a fine birthday present some day when the grandson is old enough to start using it.

I've not seen anything you've done that wasn't beautiful!  I wish I had confidence enough in myself to risk a piece of wood that nice.   ;D

  I know what you mean about cutting into an expensive blank and having second thoughts....... This one laid around the house for a couple years before we got up enough guts to start on it. Best piece of wood we ever worked. (actually, it's entry level compared to the exhibition blanks on the market)

   'Law, the best thing to do is just tear into it before you think about it too much and change your mind. (Heard the same thing said about skydiving ..... but still have'nt tried it.)

I need your recipe Atllaw, it's the only meat I can't cook to my liking.  Dang I rode yesterday but the wind had me leaning almost to the pegs. Note to self "Not fun".

I tell ya, the weather is beautiful; in the 80's, sunny.  And I can't ride!   >:(  This foot of mine might have to "man up" and learn to love the vibration if this keeps up!   ::)

After marinating and seasoning I just roasted it at 325o for about 25 min per pound (boneless leg).  Medium rare with plenty of well done parts for those that like that sort of thing.   :-\

Everybody said it was great!   ;D  Of course, I can do no less...  8)

Well, this past Sunday and Monday I rode 325 miles all over East Tn and Western NC. Beautiful weather, but not everything is blooming yet. Cold front and rain came through today, but supposed to be great again this weekend. Anyone care to guess what I'm planning on doin'? ;D

Damn,...... Just lost about a half page I was writing when I went to load a photo. Was typing about this past year and how and what you all are doing, what we are cooking for tomorrow night, the winter work on the bikes, etc., but mostly about getting involved way over our heads helping to maintain this:

   The Avenger we put up pictures of in the fall. Have said before that a new distraction is always good. Well, this is some distraction, and a very cool bunch of guys, and most of them ride.
   OK..... back to work on the pasta sauces, ceasar dressing, bagna cauda,etc. Last post on this was in April??? Where did the year go? Got about a bottle of some really good Chianti put away and feeling it.....How ' bout it.....Like D&H said before -"Why aint we talkin' it up"?
 Who's next?
                     Again, hoping this finds everyone well;

Got a new (to me) scooter in October, rode my old bike over to Georgia and traded it for this one, a 2004 Screamin Eagle Electra Glide.

   Radio claims 18 inches..... I'd say only about a foot so far. Can't say..... what with the wind blowing the way it is. For sure enough to slow things way down. Folks in town are getting around they say....... Not out here. Not yet. Supposed to get calm this afternoon, and then we'll start digging out.
      As always, hoping this finds everyone well;

Only about ten inches here. I'd rather think about this sort of day:
