If raising fuel prices is all it takes for us to use alternate fuels, should the DOE shutdown with loss of pensions for not doing anything?
Apparently the money WASTED on the DOE should have went to put solar power on EVERY house in America, or at the very least to R&D for an electric vehicle to include the rights to Bolivia's lithium reserves (japan got that most recently). The current and past administrations only understand money, and not neccessarily using that money for a real plan, but for wage and pension payout.
