Does anyone know if Savage or anyone else make a youth stock to fit a model 111 in 30-06?

I don't know about aftermarket  suppliers - check around. But it looks like currently, the youth model Savage centerfire rifles are on the shorter 10/11 308-243 sized bolt actions not the 110/111 long actions.

Try emailing Savage.

I put a cheap Ramline youth stock on Sky's 110/30-06.  Thinking I would only have it on there for a few years till he out grew it.  Sky is now 21 and 5'6", the length is still right for him, he likes it the way it is and won't change it period.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Good move by your son Sourdough. I'm 5'3" and cant's stand full size stocks when I have 4" of clothes on my shoulder while hunting. I have a son, 13 and 4'7" and was 4' 2 a few years ago. The only thing that remotely felt right was an H&R super light @ 5 1/3 lbs. I pick the gun up and think, why don't I have one of these? Light and easy to handle.
